I sent a midi file to my vx 6000 phone through vzwpix.com by attaching it to a picture message. After I recieved the message and set the file as a ringtone it sounded different. Before it used to be a polyphonic midi and now it sounds like a midi with only one instrument. If anyone knows what I can do to prevent this from happening please reply. Thanks a lot.

it's [email protected]
The file you're using may be the wrong type. All the tracks of the midi aren't being read correctly. I could be that the file is of type 0 and it needs to be type 1. (I think that's how it is)
Easy fix: get another file.
Hard fix: edit the file in a midi file editor program.
