How big can a file be?

How big can my file be and still be able to save it onto my phone? ( a wall paper or image)

i'm not sure about images
but ringtones are 30k and under for verizon

dont make it too big, it might fry your phone like my old one lol

Man i think that 30k is pretty bad considering that i really want to have people singing on my ringtones....

yeah, 30k is the max for a ringtone...i dont think images have a set limit.

get a data cable and download bitpim 7 test version 8. you can have files that can be up to 30 seconds long at 400kb.

I put a 2mb music file on my Phone. Its a MP3 at 64KBS saved as a .mid through media player and sent to the phone via BitPim.
