Just purchased the VX6000. Was wondering if it were possible to program the voice mail number with a voice-activated prompt? I am able to do so with my Contacts, but I can't seem to figure out how to do so with the voice-mail.
Thanks.

Here's how I do it on my 4600:
Number: 1-(area code)-(Phone Number)T(phonemail password)
Then assign a voice dial to the above contact. Doing it this way instead of *86 lets you use mobile-to-mobile minutes (or free calling to Verizon customers) depending on your plan.

This is what i did...Go to Contacts then New then New Number and enter *86 then hit OK then Name it whatever you want (probably Voicemail) then hit ok then it will let you select a speed dial or voice dial...choice voicedial and im sure you can figure the rest out! Hope this helps!
