hi, just the other day, my friend gave me his old LG KM-250, it looked better than my old phone so i have decided to use it.

but he only gave me the phone along with the recharger, but i dont know what plan he uses , or the phone's number (he mentioned that he got cut on that phone)

so i was wondering if its possible to switch service providers, and the phone number too.

i have never come across a situation like this before, so any suggestions?

    thanks

PS. since I live in Canada, the phone originally uses Bell. (the company icon is displayed everytime i turn on the phone) and Im looking into switching to Fido (another Canadian company) prepaid phone card services.

    thanks agian.

im pretty sure you would have to go to the fido store and see if they support that phone and then if they do, you can go about switching it over.
