    i just bought the usb cord for the lgvx6000...then i downloaded bitpim and it didnt read my usb cord.......so i went to radioshack and bought snapmedia...the employees there said that it would read my cord....but when i tried installing it..it only read certain types of phones, and mine is not under that.....please help...i justy want to upload ringtones and backgrounds on my phoneeeee

    almost the same friggin thing happened to me.. LG VX6000 usb cord is worthless

    you have to get the drivers for the usb cord. i dont remember where i got mine, but ill look. it was from the site of the cord's manufacturer, so look on the packaging and they might have it there. (they WILL have it if you got the same one as me)

    Mine came with discs to install it, and they had the drivers on it to recognize the cord. I just bought the kit at the store when I got my phone.

    mine is made bu futuredial, but when i d/l the driver for it online something gets messed up

    Well mine is all LG stuff... the discs that came with have LG programs on them that I don't even use, but they also had the drivers. It was only 14 dollars and I bought it at my cell phone store. I duno what to tell you though about this futuredial stuff.

    i had the same problem at first, you can find working drivers for the futuredial cords without buying any software at http://driverguide.com

    You need to make sure the version of bitpim you have supports the vx6000

    I tried that drivewr siote, i signed up for it..and i cant fin the driver for the futuredial vx6000 usb cord.....ahh...what am i supposed to do?

    I have Datapilot and It works fine, My problem is for some reason I always get error messages when trying to send stuff to my phone.
