Hi, I use to download the midi files from this site and sent them as an attachment to my phone as a pictures message. That is how i would get free ringtones.
I have tried it it recently and it no longer works... the midi attachment is always dropped... does anybody no the solution to this problem. Is it just me or did verizon find a way to stop getting free ringtons... help.

it only works if you have verizon. im pretty sure it only works for verizon, because vzw(vzwpix.com)=verizon.

still not working
okay I have tried sending the email through with an attachment as well as send it to my phone from pix place...
but its not ending up at my phone. the file is only 18 kb (which I understand that the limit is 30) and I can send pictures to my phone...
so am I doing something wrong... does anyone else have this problem? should I just go buy the usb cord?
Thanks!

i suggest buyin the usb cord. itll cost you somwhere around 20-40 dollars (mine was 22 and change), and with that you can even put mp3s on the phone. especially if songs wont send to your phone.

i just read on the VZW site that if your phone can recieve text messages, but not picture messages, you will recieve a text messaging telling you how to look at the photo/audio/etc. I just bought this phone today, actually.. 2 hours ago.. i'm going to call customer service and ask them if they updated the system from my old VX4600.

Ok.. just called tech support...
Tony, the tech.. informed me that VZW is currently having technical difficulties with the picture/text/audio sending services.. primarily pic/audio services.
He said they do not have a specific ETA of when this will be fixed, but within the next 24-48 hours it should be repaired.
Thats why we cant recieve audio and pix from vzwpix.com.
Hope this helps.Last edited by Boost_it; 08-19-2004 at 01:34 AM.
