    Re Cinguar LG L1400

I just bought this phone from Cinular.com last week and I love it. It has good battery life and great signal reception. You'll love all of the cool features. It's kinda difficult setting up all the TEXT and MEDIA stuff but once that's done, the phone is AMAZING. The shipping time was even quicker than the website said. I ordered the phone on Wednesday and got it Friday. By mistake I ordered a travel charger thinking the phone would come without one, DA, It comes with one, so don't order one unless you need 2. I don't know much about ringtones and other settings but if you know where I can find info on this, it would be really helpful. GOOD LUCK AND FOR $30, you really can't go wrong!

IR as in Infrared? Yeah I'm pretty sure it does. I read something about it in the manual. Why?

I want to load address book from a laptop to the phone using IR. I bought 4 of the phones for a family plan and wish to sync address & calendar with two of them.

Anyone know if additional software is required?

I have this phone now too and it is wonderful.
The only thing I am not sure about is my t616 had a whole website dedicated to free graphics and ringtones and such...I can't seem to find anything that great around here.

I got the L1400 and had to get data pilot software ($35) in order to sync using the cable. You can also buy a package from datapilot.com with the cable and the software for $50. I'm sure it works with IR also, but I haven't tried it.
