    hey i saw the new way that was listed using CDex to make mp3's into wav's......it is not working for me.....after i convert the file, i cant open enthing up in sound recorder....what am i doing wrong?!

    Well I believe you have to convert it to a very low bitrate mp3 first of all.

    manu..u have a vx6000 and it uses mp3 ringtones so you dont have to convert it to wav...as a matter of fact...the vx6000 wont even play wavs.

    you need to convert it to .wav to edit the size and then convert it back to .mp3

    If I understand right you can't open the .wav's in Sound Recorder --- Make sure that you are converting the .mp3 to a wav, and not something else. It doesn't matter the bitrate, but you can go to Options>Settings, and select how you want it to be converted.

    Maybe you aren't looking in the right directory for your converted files?

    a ha got it.......i wasnt looking in the right directories....i found em, and can play em in sound recorder......now i idont know how to crop them or ne of that business.....also i dont know what to do after that to gt it to my phone....plus hypnotiq said that i cant even play wavs from my pone......what do i do now?! ahhh.....

    i may be a moron and u may be mad at me.......but my phone doesnt play.wav files....and i dont think u can drop a song down in sound recorder.....correct me if im wrong please, cuz i dont know how to do ne of this

    Quick and easy way to create WAVs

    Hi, I just wanted to add that I've had a lot of luck with MP32WAV, a simple program for converting MP3s to WAVs. I use it quite often and just thought I'd post this on here for anyone interested.

    I got it in my own way, but you can get it from:
