Lg L1400 Issues

Please help. I'm having multiple issues with my LG L1400. My first issues is that every time I try to connect to MEdia Net, I get a message that says "No GPRS, Try CSD?" and when I hit retry with CSD, it says "Network Unavailable." I bought the $7.99 a month MEdia Basic package and I'm in my network area, so why is this happening?
My next issue is with Text messaging and Media messaging, everytime I try to send a text or media message, I get a "sending Faliure, Try again?." message. I have no IDEA what to do. I tried called customer service but that didn't work. It's probably a simple fix; turning something on or off. Please help.

I know when I first turned on the Internet Express option, I had to turn my L1400 off, then back on for it to recognize the new feature. Then it worked just fine.
