Get it Now Games

I'm thinking of downloading some games from get it now.

Has anyone downloaded any good ones?

I was thinking of Lord of the Rings or maybe one of the sport ones.

Any suggestions or sites that rates these games?

What kind of phone do you have? I dont think the same games are available on every phone, I have a VX4400
I am ADDICTED to Tetris. This game is SOOOO worth it! You could do regular Tetris, or the Tetris Tournament where you'll compete against other people (for prizes which I never got) but the tournament is a subscription game so...
I also had a game called pipes at one point, which I also was a bit addicted to, not sure where to find it again after losing it (I replaced my phone a few times- 3 times actually)

I have the LG VX6000.

Does the games require airtime? Where are the games stored when I download them? Is it stored on the "Get it Now" page next to the shopping cart?

Does that mean if i'm at a place with no signal, I can't play the games?

The only time you'll be charged airtime is when you are downloading the game. Or, if you play the Tetris Tournament, you'll only get charged airtime when they send the scores.
The game is then stored like you said, next to the shopping cart when you start up Get It Now. And you definitely can play games when you have no service, all you need is life in your battery (you will notice that this sucks the life out of your battery- depending of course how long you play the game).
I played Tetris last night and got up to level 19... My highest score yet!

I thought going on the "Get it Now" network required airtime? The reason I ask is because I see the signal bars which tells me it's using airtime...

And you need to be on the "Get it Now" network to get to the place with the shopping cart...

The only time you're using air time is when there's a little phone icon next to your signal bars. That's the only time. (If you've downloaded an application, when you play the game you're not using airtime) WHen you select the shopping cart, you'll notice it says "Browsing and downloading apps uses airtime" and then when you hit start, you'll notice the little phone icon has appeared as I've mentioned
