Well my pc basically lets the program work when it wants to, sometimes it works good sometimes it crashes for some hours.
Cause i just hooked it up and it was working for a while.
    EDIT UPDATE

I figured out how to get around all my bugs, first plug in the phone to the usb cable, then open device manager and go to hubs , then plug in phone to pc. In my situation after a second it will recognize the usb and then it will dissapear. If you highlight the FutureLink in device manager before it dissapears it will not dissapear. Then go straight to Explorer and download ))

Thanks for the info and the site

.mid files are not working for some reason.
They play in Windows and the volume is up on the phone.

The files show up on the phone but the audio will not play. I click on play and it plays but no audio. The stop button appears as it would a working mid file...

    Weirdnes....anyone have any idears?

I am wondering if the sonymusicjukebox I downloaded could be conflicting with it.

It is a either a compression or size issue.

I exported a mid file I downloaded from the phoneweb, exported it and renamed it and then reloaded it to the phone and it worked.....

    Hmmmmmmmm

    Works for VX8000 also...

Your tutorial on vx7000 is very nice, I have a VX 8000, Nothing and I mean nothing would talk to this phone over the serial usb cable. Bitpim bombed.. Futuredial bombed... QPST connected... downloaded.. backed up.... and uploaded... way too sweet.

It's been a long search to get this done and you helped finish my search...

    THX...

P.S. IF I wipe my phone out... blame only lies with me for ummm.. backing up my phone....

    well...

I have a usb data cable for my Razr V3, and its by USB company (says USB: universal serial bus)
it's used for gsm and all that, and even comes with a cd with all the drivers. The problem is when i plug it in my computer, it gives the beep twice that somethings connected, BUT doesn't say what . when I goto add new hardware, it cant/doesn't find anything. And then when I unplug the cable (connected to phone.) from the computer, it crashes! gives this big blue screen about some hardware error

how do I fix? (or even more, how can I manually install the drivers?
