I posted that with excitement as i finally got it to work.
The source of the speakerphone lies in the recorded ring tones in the alarm feature.
Phone on vibrate.
-Menu 8 - 2
-Set an alarm (doesn't have to be turned on)
-set the alarm ringer to a recorded ring tone.
-then save alarm exit and make a phone call. Phone should pop then start to ring very loud If you hear it, Congratulations you've done it correctly!
to turn it off during a call:
This is kind of a ghetto way but im sure you guys will figure out a way.
during a call press OPTIONS soft key then 7-9-1-3-1 If your ringer is on vibrate it should automatically turn off after your phone vibrates. dont press OK because the speakerphone will turn back on... just keep the phone in menu.
You can press OK to turn it back on .
to turn it off not on a call
-take phone off vibrate and put at least to LOW volume
-go back to alarms (MENU 8-2)
-go to the alarm you set and change the alarm ringer to a non recorded ring tone.
Good Luck!

I have been trying to get the speakers phone option to work on my lgx 6000 and i am not getting it to using the steps on the post above. I might be doing something wrong, or maybe my expectations are not being met in the " speaker" phone ideas
