if you view your ipod as a removeable storage which can be done through settings on itunes pull the song off and then you gotta get a mp3 editor and crop about 30sec of what you want. save it and then go into start>run>cmd
and goto the folder where the mp3 is at and type rename file.mp3 file.mid and it will change the file extension. then you can upload it through vzwpix if its small enogh

I am able to put songs from my I-pod onto my LG env2. Here is how I do it. Select the songs you want on your phone. Put those songs in a different playlist in I-Tunes. Put a blank cd in your drive. Make sure all the songs are checked. Click "Burn Disc".
Once the disc is done, close out I-Tunes. Remove the cd. Open Windows media player. Insert the cd. Once it is recoginized, click on "now playing". Now click "Rip". Once they are ripped to the library, click "Sync". Drag the songs you want to the right. Insert your data cable into the computer then to your phone. Click "Start Sync" and once it has finished, you are ready to listen to the music on your phone. This has worked very well for me. Good luck.
