L1400 Battery Discharge

With my past Motorola and Nokia phones it was recommended that one or two discharges were needed to strengthen the battery. There is no mention of this for the L1400. Is the discharge necessary for this phone?

As far as I know, you don't have to do any type of discharge. I have been told that the newer phones, like the L1400, possess a different type of battery that doesn't have a battery memory. You can run down the battery a couple of times like you did with your other phones, but it won't do much to make the battery last any longer.
