I have an LG 6190 which I would like to attach to my computer for the purpose of editing contacts (sync with Outlook?), offloading pictures, adding ringtones, etc.

My local cel phone store (Telus dealer) has USB cables for this phone, but the package indicates that it allows the phone to be used as a modem for connecting the PC to the internet. I says nothing about being able to edit any features of the phone itself.

So, can someone tell me if this USB cable simply needs different software to do what I want, or if a different cable is needed, or if it's simply not possible with this cel phone model.

    - James.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the links, PhoneMall.

Normally, I would be opposed to having advertising, but yours seems like a pretty good site for users...
