i recently purchased a usb cable off of ebay from everydaysource.com

i installed the drivers from the futuredial website, then i installed bitpim. i went to "get phone data" and it started but failed after it got several phone book entries. my error read:

LG-VX440 on COM4: The phone is not responding while manipulating the phonebook. See the help for troubleshooting tips.


Also how do I connect to the internet with this cable? If I made a copy of the the software that verizon distributes, could I use that (my girlfriend has it).
