anyone know how to save your test messages to your computer. I have a vx6000 and use bitpim. I can save the message but as a dat file. I can't read the file and don't know how to convert it to something legible.
I have 2 ideas, one, try and re-save the file, but make sure it in't a read only, or two extract the data to bitpim from your phone again, but this time extract JUST the text message, if you take up 2 much sometimes it fails, or makes a minor error
i can only find the file in the sms folder using the filesystem tab. i don't know how to check if it's read-only or how to extract just the text. can you step me through it?
