clips only 5 seconds

i used my 3gupload account since nothing else i have tried is working and when i select them there only like 5 seconds but when i did the sound editing i made them like 25 seconds. why did it cut it down so far. my data cable isnt working with the software i have and bitpim and all and there is a problem from my phone when using funformobile.com there is a bad gateway error. anyone know what to try

First, the 5 second clip; is that when you first preview the song? Have you actually tried to save the song, and then listen to it?

Also, without knowing your type of phone an provider, I can't really help with other method's of getting ringtones on your phone.

oh yeah sorry, no its just 5 seconds cause i saved it as a ringtone and then called my phone from my house and it was still 5 seconds. i have an lgl1400 and its with tmobile. it was an unlocked phone from ebay.
