donation for an answer?

I am new, but have posted some questions for help and have not received an answer. I'm just wondering, do I need to donate first before I can get an answer? Is that how this board works? I mean this not as a dig. I notice that there is a donation counter so I was just wondering. Thanks

If this is not the case then I will ask another question. I have a lg vx-6100 and want to know if there is a way to change the sound when you turn on and off the phone? I know I can change the wallpaper, but what about sound? I have read through the handbook and do not seem to find this, but I would think it can be done. Thanks

I don't think you can change the startup/shutdown tones on the phone. I have a VX7000 and have never come across the setting that controls that.

Perhaps someone else knows of a way this can be done?

I've tried that with my audiovox phone and couldn't do it.
