I'm not sure if this will help, but if you haven't changed the lock code yet, then usually the preprogrammed one is the last four digits of your cell phone number. Hope that helped.

Hopeless. Never buy a locked LG
You are in the same boat as one of my friends was. He was never able to unlock his phone and ultimately had to buy a new one. LG phones are extremely difficult to unlock and beware of all fellas who promise that they can.

yes it's an LG phone Twin, most people are not aware that they don't have to pay to get their phone unlocked, Cingular will do this for you, you just have to have a valid reason for them to do so.
also there are different types of lock codes, one could be that they just need the lock code for security purposes or because they forgot it, or they may need a subsidy lock code to use a different sim card, it would help if they were more specific..
