LG 8000 problem.. thanks in advance

i have the LG 8000. im using bitpim. ive uploaded a few wallpapers. and a couple mp3 ringtones.. all of a sudden when i try to access ringtones on my phone. everytime i click "ok" on ringtones my phone reboots. its quite strange. any ideas on how to solve this problem...

are you renaming them? changed them to end with ..mid and see if that works.

yes when using bitpim we renamed one song because the file name was soooo long. and we were under the impression since are fun was mp3 compatable we didnt need to convert the files...

You renamed the song using bitpim, or you renamed a song then tried to upload the song to your phone?

i brought the mp3 over to bitpim then i cropped it down to approx 30 sec long
before sending to phone i renamed it after downloading to phone when i went to see if it was there when i hit ok at ringtones the phone rebooted. the phone is working perfectly except when i go to ringtonnes now the phone will not show me what is there only reboots everytime i hit "ok"

im not having problem sending mp3's to phone.. it just seems now my phone is corrupted... rebooting everytime i try to access the ringtones
