A Simple Question

Alright. I hate to be an idiot, but I'm having a problem with my brother's cell phone. Mom took it up from him for going over his minutes and we can't figure out how to turn the dang thing off. It's the LG phone with the slide-out keyboard used for text messaging. Any help would be appreciated. Also, no I can't just go look it up in the manual. It's late at night and it's packed away.

I have no clue. It's black with the words 'Instant Messaging Phone' on the side. Umm...

If so... it's the big button to the right of the navigational joystick... has an image of a big red phone on it.
