Is there any way to access the wap browser from a pc, with the usb data cable? (i.e. not dialing up)

Not sure I understand what you're trying to do.

You want to use the USB cable connected to your phone to get internet access on your computer?

In that case, you ARE going to be dialing up the internet....one way or another. No, you don't have to dial the ISP number, you can use the service provider's internet access. But you'll pay minutes.

If you're talking about using a PC to visit WAP pages, just use OPERA web browser. It recognizes WML code.

i was talking about visiting wap pages, but through the cellphone's wap internet via the usb cable.

for wap, i get charged 5 cents per page. For dialup, i dont know, i have free evenings and weekends, but not sure if that applies to dialup, and i hear conflicting answers from telusmobility.

you can only use your phone as a modem, via infared or data cables (now blue tooth too D
