Skipper,
Your post doesn't explain what you have done.
You must be uploading a .jpg file or .bmp
Where are you putting them? What SIZE are they? There's a limit, you know?

Skipper,
Help us understand your problem a little bit better...
What phone do you have?
What version of BitPim are you using?
Do you have QPST?
When you upload photos from your computer to your phone, where are you putting them?
For the VX7000 the directory is:
/dload/img
This can be in BitPim's Wallpaper section.
In BitPim, first click on "Data" from the top menu.
Then, "Get Phone Data" to see what's already on the phone. Click the checkbox next to "Wallpaper."
Click on "Add" -- select your file to add, being careful to select your "target" on the left column...is it a fullscreen, outside LCD, PictureID or wallpaper?
Now, is this where you're NOT seeing a photo? If it is, that means you're not pointing to a directory on your computer that has any photos!
If you are clicking on "Add" and NOT seeing a photo, that means there's no photo to show. Try picking a photo, smaller than 640X480, from your computer files. Download one from the internet, if you need to.
Once you have selected the photo (and actually see one!) and go through the process, you will need to click on "Data" once again. This time, you tell the program to "Send Phone Data."
After the process completes, you should be able to see the picture in your photo gallery.
Hope that helps!Last edited by reader; 09-11-2005 at 05:59 AM.

Skipper,
This is an LG550?
It won't take a .jpg -- you must use .bmp or .gif files
That's why it isn't showing up!

skipper, please tell us what style\type of phone you have, and also what version of bitpim you are using.
More than likely we can fix this problem with the next post after you tell us this information.
