Downloading pictures from phone to a PC using a data Cable.

I spoke to some Very unhelpful person at BELL about using the data cord with my LG 6200 to unload the pictures that I take right onto my pc without having to send them to their server.

The guy told me that I CAN'T because the pictures are not actually on my phone but are on Bells website.

Now I hate to sound like an idiot but I assumed that the PHONE has some memory and the pictures are stored on the PHONE till you send it to the bell site.

Am I totally wrong?

Is there a way to download the pictures from the phone with a cable that DIDN'T come with a driver, because they said for teh first 3 months air time is unlimited but after that they will charge me and I dont' want to have to Pay to download the pictures I take. Very annoying very very annoying.

Thank you, I figured they were trying to rip me off but I thought I had better check here since you guys would be totally honest wiht me.

Do you think there is a way to get the software for the cord I bought since it looks exactly like the one you showed only it didn't have a disk.

Maybe I need to go into the store I got it from and beg for it LOL.

Well Dang it didn't work, unless I totally messed up which I won't discount either. I'll keep trying though.

Thank you anyways. I keep wondering if it's because they don't list my phone anywhere it is a LG 6200, they list the 6100 but not the one I have so maybe the two are just enough different to make it not work.

The same thing happen to me ...I bought a LG C2000 and I got the usb data cable with the cd that doesn't work and now I need the software..I down loaded the software someone posted on this site... it doesn't work either..if anyone has the answer PLEASE let me know I bought the phone thinking I could get the pics to my PC.

I am still having the same problem but with my Samsung P107 It keeps saying offline I can't get it to say online , I am thinking maybe my usb cable just went bad. Cingular told me I could not download from my phone also, but can & i did with my USB cable, it is really nice when It was working
