Maverick just in case you're not aware, if Cingular is your provider they can unlock your phone after having your account for 90 days, you just need a valid reason for example, "traveling overseas on business", worked for me...

I actually had ATT, but have a cingular phone I want to use....so I am not technically with cingular

found them on ebay originally and unlocked a couple blackberries (8700 & 8800).....newmobilefreedom is the username. great service....so great i eventually formed a business relationship with them, I do some coding for them now and then.
Check out their about us[/URL]" page and is their profile on ebay.....like 99% positive feedback. If you choose to go with them to unlock your phone you won't have any issues.
