I just purchased an 8100 off of ebay and was also looking at getting a bluetooth headset for it. I noticed that there are several different brands and prices. Are they all pretty much the same or is one better than the other? I noticed two brands were Plantronics and Motorola. I was kind wondering if the $35 were just as good as the $75?

Well the reason I was looking into getting one was the fact that it is wireless. It seems as though people always try to call me right when I'm in the middle of doing something and with one of those, I could still have both hands free to do whatever I need to do.

I have the Motorola H500 and it is a great headset. My Verizon dealer recommended it for my wife when she bought her LG VX8100, for what it's worth. I also had the comparably priced Jabra BT350 and it worked just fine.

I ended up buying a Motorola HS850 off ebay. Hopefully I will like it.
