I am on my second PM-225, which is a long story but Sprint replaced my first one as a way of apologizing for a mistake made by one of their reps in the Sprint Store. My problem is the same with this one that I had with the old one. It doesn't happen all the time, not even once a week, but occasionally and for no apparent reason, the phone will reboot itself, power-cycle, or whatever you want to refer to it as. The people at the Sprint Store acted like they never heard of such a thing and wanted mt to file an insurance claim. Huh? Pay a $50 deductable for something that's happened since the day I began my service? Furthermore, for something that's happened with two different phones of the same model?
Aside from this problem, I have been overal pretty satisfied with the phone. But the reboot problem has interrupted ringtone downloads, games I've been playing, and the sending of a picture mail or two. This is very annoying and Sprint isn't helping me solve the problem. I'm not knocking Sprint, I like my service provider and they've done their best to resolve most problems I've had, but this is really becoming a nuisance since the last reboot seems to have screwed up one of my downloaded ringtones. If other people are having the same problem, I want to hear about it before I contact LG. If this turns out to be a widespread problem, I have a lot of letters to write to a lot of companies and members of the news media....
More about the "screw up" I referred to above, the reboot occurred after the download was complete, during the "Saving" process, and now I have a nameless ringtone that makes my phone instantly reboot if I select is as a ringtone, and when I get the phone turned back on, it displays an "Omega" symbol where the name of the ringtone should be, and attempting to play the ringtones causes another reboot.
ANYONE ELSE HAD ANY PROBLEM LIKE THIS? I NEED TO KNOW PLEASE!
