Hello! this is my first question. A few years back I lost (thought was stolen) vx8700 LG phone. I had the number and phone deactivated. I have found the phone and am wanting the information stored on it. I have charged the battery and turned it on to find that it is locked. I cannot remember the code and just the last four of the number. There is no sim card. I was reading the thread on how to unlock it and am stumbling on the 'esn change'. (see above).Do I dial the esn number in and press send? Enter it as a code? How do I do this? It is not life or death that I do this, but it would be nice to recover my contacts. Thanks! Becca

Is there a way to retrieve my old information off an unactivated vx8700? I had it reported stolen, then found it...the account was under my husband's name as primary and verizon won't let me in my old phone. My husband cannot remember the passwords either...I don't want to use the phone, just want my old numbers...
