That usally means that your phones data port got wet somehow. Humidity anything like that. Your gonna have to take it to your retailer. Sometimes dust will cause it also. Best way to clean the data port is with a toothbrush, If ya did get it wet do not wait to take it in cause once it corrodes there is nothing they can do.
you also might want to check your data port to make sure there isn't any pins bent over or touching other pins, as this will also bring up car kit mode.
But as mentioned, water damage is the biggest reason that comes on the phone.
