All you need is the a scandisk card reader. Just format the card in the phone first. Place the MINI SD Card ino the card reader of the computer and grab and drop the mp3s into the mp3 folder on the card. You can do the same for video, pix. For Ringtones when in the card reader just add a folder for ringtones and you can add ringtones to the card. Those ringtones will show up with gold icons when you look at them in the phone display.

No, you do not need a USB Cable.

If your computer does not have the Card Reader build into it and you had to go out and buy one, then the reader will come with a cable that plugs directly into one of your USB Port.

Once you plug the reader in, windows will recognize it and assign it a new Drive Letter. Just do as eandras said, and your all set!
