lg vx6000 help needed

ok i just put a new face plate on my beat up phone and now it looks new again and the cam works better now but when i close the face the inside lcd does not turn off and the front icd does not turn on can this be fixed i love the phone please someone help me out

sounds like the ribbon cable is being pinched when you put the phone back together, check your connections .

ok i just checked that they look ok my other lg phone did this when i put a face plate on it is there a way to fix this

there's a 'switch' in there that turns off the phone when you close it. Something isn't right with that. Maybe it came apart when you took the faceplate off?

i cant find any switchs in there

pshull, here's a tutorial on the housing replacement for the 6K, go over it and double check that you done everything right.
