I have the LG M4410 from europe, but I reside in the U.S. and the phone works fine but particularly when i go to a specific location the phone completely stops being able make calls. I get errors saying "Roaming not available" and "Emergency Only". I don't know if it has anything to do with my band settings because i have the options of EGSM/DCS or EGSM/PCS. I'm not sure which it needs to be on to work everywhere. I have cingular and i have roaming on my plan, although i wasn't even roaming at the time i got those errors.

So if anyone could offer assistance that would be great.

Does your phone support the 850 and 1900 bands?

If it is a specific location, maybe Cingular doesn't have towers up there or due to enviromental conditions it can't get service. You may need to call Cingular customer service and ask.

the only thing about that is that when i had my last 2 cellphones they worked in that location (it is at a friends house). So i was thinking it had something to do with the phone.
