8300 SD card

I just got 8300 and got a SD 1Gb card too. I loaded some pics onto the card easy enough but when I put the card into the phone nothing happens. I already formatted the disc before loading pics onto, so how do I read the card once I put it in the phone? or does the phone just store data and not read it? if not then the only other way to get my old pics is to email them from my comp to my 8300?

You have gone in and switch over from phone to memory card right?

yes, if i take a new pic it gets stored right onto the mem card but i cant get the old ones off...

open the pic from MYPIX folder on phone
then click the right soft key for OPTIONS
then choose MOVE
it will move it from phone to card or vice-versa
