Lg vx5200 water damage indicators

my lg vx5200 went though the whole wash load and it is shot i tried to turn it on and its not but when i put in the baterly it makes a noise and the sceen turns blue for a sec and once my flash for the camera went off

i probly cant repiar it but can i just buy a new batery (beacuse there is a water damage indicator on the battery it turned pink) and put it in the phone or can they tell. beacuse i never took the batery out but there is nothing that looks out of the ordnary on my phone. Maby i can just let it dry and put it in the microwave for 2 seconds to dry it out and say it stoped working?
