Hi all,

I'm really interested in this LG phone, but there are no posts about it! It seems like a great phone with 3G and otherwise great specs (as far as I can tell). But it supports 64k colors where other phones support up to 262k. How is the display quality of this phone? Is it as good as, say, a Samsung ZX20? Like I said, the phone looks like a winner, but I can't find any good reviews, let alone any info other than the features and specs.

I haven't bought a phone in 2 years and I don't know what the current throughts are about brands and carriers. It just seems strange that nobody is even talking about it here. It appears to be a leading edge phone that will compete with the Samsung ZX20 which is talked about quite a bit. I'm not familiar with LG, and I realize that they have been around a long time as Goldstar, but I'm trying to get a feel why there is no buzz about this phone. Should I avoid LG for some reason, or am I reading too much into this? I just would have thought somebody would be talking about it at this point. Yea I know, I'm clueless. But I gotta ask...

EDIT: This phone doesn't seem to have a POP3 client on it. Can I still access my POP email if I get MediaNet from Cingular? If not, is there any way to use my POP email on this phone? If not, that's a really silly limitation.

Need more reviews from people that have one!

I've heard now that LG generally has worse reception than other companies phones, and that really worries me. The phone itself seems awesome with everything I want. But with bad reception, it's just not worth it. Please tell us your experiences!

My LG CU500 will be one week old this Sunday [8/06]. So far I love it. It is an upgrade for me after 20 months with my first Cingular phone. I have unlimited txt messages and unlimited downloading for one month. I am going to continue, as it is only $19.95 a month. I have watched T.V., taken pictures.Downloaded 1gb of music on the phone. I love it. So far I see nothing to complain about.
