LG Unlocker programs

I have a number of LG unlocker programs not sure whether to post at site. Some programs would be too large anyway on the upload.

There is no charge and I am not selling anything.

I have read the forum policies, but if the Moderator/s can PM me and confirm its ok to post here then I shall upload the small apps.

Some words of caution: If you don't know what you are doing - don't do it. There are no guarantees or warranties with free apps. I learned from trial and error. Also don't use the wrong app for your model of mobile phone.

There are no tutorials but some apps are very simple to follow:

- input your IMEI (handset serial number)
- generate code
- input code
- re-boot needed for some models
- unlock

I am going to have to say no to your posting unlock codes on the forum.

We do not do that kind of thing, nor do we support it for a number of reason's.

If people would like this information, I would suggest either PM'ing Ukim, or emailing him/her.

Do you have an "Unlocker" program for LG's "CG225"?

I purchased this phone yesterday, inserted my sim card, charged the battery, and then found out I couldn't get beyond the "Restricted Phone" message.

It is very frustrating!

CG225 is not a model I am familiar with. The apps I have are for LG models:
510, 510W, B1200, B1300, G510, G520W, LG 7010, LG 7020, U81xx series

I have an app call Furiouslg that may do it, but I can't be sure. Its your risk if you want to try.

I can't email to you thru this forum as I am new to posting (only 9 posts) and I need to do 20 posts.

If you can get on MSN or Yahoo messenger I can send the app that way. Alternatively if you have a m8 with MSN or Yahoo happy to send it there.

You asked about the risks. In some makes and models (for example Nokia acts differently to LG) some handsets lock up and others do not respond to the unlock code at all. Where the handset locks up sometimes simply disconnecting battery and reconnecting and power ON clears it. Others is causes more sustainable electronic damage and a factory reset code is needed to reset the handset, but that means any contacts, SMSs etc can be lost. One I had totally stuffed the handset and had to chuck it away.

If you wanna play with mobiles - get secondhand ones - see if your lost and found at the railway station etc will sell unclaimed items. If you have to pay at least pay the minimum.

You will have to communicate off list. The mod has asked me not to discuss unlocking at site and I have to respect the mod's wishes.
