A Couple of VX9800 Questions

I just bought mine earlier this week and I have a few simple questions:

1.) It came with a 512MB "mini sd." I put the SD card into my computer and put two songs (mp3 format) into the "my_tunes" (or what ever its called) folder. I was wondering if you can listen to these mp3's on the phone from the card. And if so, how?

2.) I just bought a usb cable on ebay for the phone but it doesnt come with the CD. Is there somewhere online that i can DL the software?

first off, you need to format the card with the phone. To do this, put your memory card in the phone and then open your phone and:

Press OK
Go to Settings & Tools
then to System (5) and press OK
Then go to Manage Memory (4) and press OK
then to Card Memory (3) and press OK
Now, down in the right hand corner you will see option...press the right softkey (the key right below where it says options) and it should say format. Press ok and it will then format your card.

After that, you should be able to put the card back into your computer and load it up with all the songs you want and listen to your hearts content.

One bit of warning, your phone is one of the newer ones, which means that the mp3 player has been turned off. To turn it back on:

1) Open your phone and press ok
2) Press 0
3) Then enter 000000 (for code)
4) Select Music Settings (number 12)
5) Then select MP3 Only or MP3 & MOD.
6) Press OK

There, you have your mp3 player function back.

Oh...as for the software for the cable. That I do not know as I don't know the brand name of the cable. Best thing I could say is to find out what brand it is, and google for information on it and the drivers.

I am a lil confused. I have the data cable, I plug it into the computer and i go into "My music" and there was a soft key that said sync. I hit that it opened media player on my computer I loaded songs into a playlist and hit sync again and the songs are on my phone. When I checked the settings it said MOD ONLY but my songs play. What does the MP3 and Mod button enable because I dont see a difference? THanks

Ok nevermind I now see a difference there is My MP3 and such. Could you explain the benefits of having this enabled? What is the difference between using my music or my mp3? Thanks
