#1 | | Mr Admin Guy | Images are emerging of the up and coming VX9900, LG's successor to the popular vx9800 'the V'. The pic on the left side below was posted on HowardForums. The right was lifted from the FCC page. Rumor has it that LQ will officially announce this phone by mid Oct! The 9900 will no doubt be slimmer, with a QWERTY keyboard, EVDO, bluetooth, and other upgraded features.
Questions, Comments, Concerns?

#4 | | Member | NOW I see it! Weird.
Anyway, looks like the 9800. I just hope they fixed some stuff I have problems with.
I can barely hear when it rings when it's closed and I can't get ANY bluetooth headset to work with it and I've tried 6 different units and 4 different brands!

#13 | | Daderator | From what I have heard, it is suppose to be slimmer than the 9800. The outside number keys have been completely redesigned and the other keys are suppose to more user friendly (bigger so they can actually be used).
They moved the buttons on the inside for the Message and Contacts as you can see for easier access (that will help a lot).
Basically, the entire phone has been revamped in one way or another. I really like my 9800, so will hold back on passing any kind of judgement until I can get my hands on one, but if they have improved on a already great phone...I'll have one within the first month it becomes available...thats for sure.

#14 | | Member | It's suppose to be out within a few months.. so says the rep... but who knows.
You are also able to use the outer buttons when the phone is open, such as for pictures in dual LCD mode, etc.. etc..
He seemed pretty phsyked about the phone, suppose to be alot of revamps and upgrades from the 9800... about all I could get from him.
EDIT:
I asked him what the initial retail price would be, he said about $250.

#15 | | Mr Admin Guy | More than likely, this phone will come out, there will be bugs, verizon will issue fixes, etc, etc.
