Is there a software to make themes, ringtones, skins etc? Are there any other faceplates for it besides the 4 that came with it?

Nobody has this cell or knows anything about it?
I was wondering how to use pics I added via the pc as a slide show too......

I don't know much about your phone, but some of this stuff is general info you can find searching our site with a few well chosen keywords. You can use any photo editing software to make wallpapers for your phone, I usually search google images to find a pic, then I resize it to my phone's resolution. Your resolution is 176x220 pixels, it's a pretty standard size and you can find lots of premade ones attached to our wallpaper forum. If you don't have photo editing software, try the wallpaper creator stickied to the top of the wallpaper forum.

Your phone can use any midi file you send to it as a polyphonic ringtone, and it might be able to play mp3 ringtones but you'll have to experiment with the false extension trick (read all replies) to find out if your model has mp3 codecs. If you can't get the false extension trick to work, you might be stuck with purevoice format, which is really awful, like bad reception on an AM radio. There are various mp3 editors out there that can be used to cut a file down to 30 seconds, and there are programs to do the same with midi files.

Sadly, Sprint phones cannot use animated GIFs and the software to convert them to the right format is pretty expensive. It seems Qualcomm has a monopoly on what types of file formats are accepted on CDMA phones, with their CMX Authoring tool and their Purevoice converter. You can check out this thread for some info on how to make a slideshow with a free tool, pm me if you need help with the software because it's not very user friendly.

I'm afraid I can't help much with themes and skins for your phone, but I'll check around google later for you. As for the faceplates, I haven't looked but I'm sure someone is making cheap plastic ones and selling them on eBay, as is usually the case with any phone that offers changeable faceplates. Just remember that if it's not OEM, it might not be as sturdy as the ones your phone came with, and more than likely will not be of made of the same quality materials.

I hope some of the links above will help you learn more, I did the searching for you and found almost every one of those links posted in our forums, with one or two coming from a google search.
