LG VX6000 Battery

Hey all,

My LGVX6000 says the battery is dead (on the display) but when i charge it up its at a full charge.. is there anyway to reset the battery so it will give the right read out?!

Are you sure the battery is holding a charge? How long till you have to charge it again?

Sounds to me like it's either the battery, as tavenger said, or the board in the phone went bad. I'd try a new battery first. Batteries for old phones are only like $10 on EBay so if it turns out it's the board of the phone, you'll only be out $10. If it turns out it's the board, you'll need to get a new phone.
