LG 8300 mini or micro.. or both? help.

Ive been trying to find out wether the LG vx8300 can take mini SD cards or not. Ive been seeing so many mixed opinions, i want to get a 1GB mini SD card for my 8300 at a good price but i dont know if my phone will be able to use it. Will it be able to? and if so can it take micro AND mini?

It takes a MicroSD card per the LG 8300 user guide (Page 11):

Just be sure to get the MicroSD card with the Adapter, so it fits in a standard card reader.

The Micro and Mini SD cards generally cost the same, no matter where you buy them.
