VX8600 Speakerphone??

Having trouble finding the option for speakerphone. I looked in the manual and no luck. The VZW website says though that there IS a speakerphone.

Thanks! I asked the Verizon guy too today. For those who need clarification, its on the flip part of the phone, just above the button on the right that activates the camera.

The speakerphone can only be activated when a call is in progress. Kind of annoying, but I guess that's life...

The idea is that you really don't need the speakerphone when you are not on a call. True enough, if you make a lot of calls in a row and want to use the speakerphone on all of them, you will have to activate the speakerphone for each and every call. That can get annoying... and quickly...

I prefer to activate the speakerphone before dialing, but it's not that big a deal.

I agree, in fact, it is one of the features that I really like about my RAZR V3c. As I have said in numerous other posts, the speakerphone is the one bad thing about the Chocolate and the 8600.

has anyone noticed that the "speaker mode" icon doesnt appear when we are allegedly in speaker mode? I dont think it is a volume issue so much as it is a speaker phone not working issue.
