LG Flip with canadian provider?

Currently I dont know of ANY canadian provider were I can buy the LG flip phone. If my cousin buys it from the U.S., will it work with the canadian wirless carriers??

You are referring to the LG VX8600 flip. Right now it is only available from Verizon Wireless.

Sure, you could use the phone on another provider's network, but you will not be able to use any of the special network-specific features of the phone (mobile web, Get It Now and V-Cast). You will also not be able to use any of your provider's data features.
