I have a LG8300 and was wondering how to use songs I already put on the phone from my computer (I bought the music accessory kit) as ringtones. Any help would be appreciated!

You can't do it. There are numerous posts regarding this issue and Verizon phones.

Would expect a sales rep to say that, as that is what all the others said. Nice that all these cell phone companies are in love with our hard-earned money. Anyone else have a suggestion?

I'm serious, you can't do it. Simply put, there is no direct connection between your music folder and ringtones. The only way to get ringtones to your phone (from your own music collection) is to trim the MP3 file down to about :30, then Pix message it to your phone ([email protected]).

As for your little rub about my being a sales rep, seriously dude, check my previous posts, you will find hundreds of instances where I have helped folks like yourself get around the obstacles imposed by Verizon and other providers. I may work for Verizon now, but I have been a customer for almost 7 years.

Also, for what it is worth, this question has been asked and answered about 20 times in the last 3 weeks (with the exact same answer I just gave you). I recommend that in the future you use the http://cellphoneforums.net/search.php feature before you insult someone, (especially a Moderator).

Attack? I guess I missed that part of my post... I didn't miss the fact that you edited your original post in an effort to make it look like you weren't slamming my advice, simply because I am a Verizon Corporate sales rep.
