music on the lg vx8100

is there any way to get the phone to read music that i put onto a memory card??

are you putting wma or mp3 on the card? Not sure what version of the phone software you have, but most recent can only play wma files.

i have the 03 version. right now i cant get either one to work. i have a micro card for my phone, and a reader that plugs into my usb port. i created the my_mp3 folder. it still didnt work. any ideas?

You shouldn't have to create any folders.

Put the card in your phone and have it format it. It should create all the neccessary folders you need.

Take the card out, put it in your reader....your computer should then assign a driver letter to it.

Then all you have to do is move your mp3's or wma files over to the mp3 folder, put the card back into your phone and listen to the music.
