LG 245 Pay and Talk USB

I have the LG 245 pay and talk phone. I have the USB cable. When I plug it in, it detects that the phone is a modem and other stuff. So how can I access my pictures from the phone. What software or drivers do I need. I've tried many but there doesn't seem to be the proper software or drivers for my phone.

When I plug the phone in, it is detected in Device Manager as a modem and on Com port 4. Bitpim seems to recognize it as a VX8100 or VX8300 but shows nothing.

I have the same phone, LG UX245 and I am having the same difficulties. No one seems to be able to tell me what I need to do to get photos off of my phone and onto my PC or why it may or may not even be possible! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I figured it out. You'll need DataPilot 3.0 (BitPim didn't work for me) and the USB mini driver for your 245 LG phone which is downloadable for free. And maybe some LG drivers for the VX8100, also free, which is what our phones will be detected as. I don't remember where I got these drivers. Just type stuff in Google.
