New here and curious the consensus of the LGVX8600

Hey all just figured id look for a cell phone forum to get some opinions being im on my 2 year upgrade with verizon and torn between phone.

My situation is this, i was lookin and lookin and the LG caught my eye, definitly a sweet lookin phone...but for some reason i went and pulled one of the new Samsung dual flip phones which, im just not crazy about. Mainly because I feel it does everything great accept the one thing its meant to be, a phone.

How do the LGs sound in terms of call quality? Like if you have it at full volume, does the signal digitize or sound metallic any? Thats the only way i can describe the sound of the Samsung.

Any opinions is more than appreciated

I don't know what LG you are talking about, but I personally love my LG's. I have had many phones over the years, Moto, Audio's, Samsung's, and I have always went back to LG because they are (in my opinion) the best phones out there.

Without knowing what your looking for in a phone, I really can't be of much help besides that.

Hi Edge verizon does have the lg 8600. I have it and I love it(upgraded from lg8000). Like boss said I personally think also lg does make the best phones. The only thing I am disappointed about is I see alltel has the 8600 but in colors. I wish verizon would of had that when I upgraded. I love the gold one.

I personally like the 8600 a lot. It's got a solid feel to it, the keys are easy to use, and of course the mp3 functions on the outside rock.

I don't think you could do much better in a flip phone.

Yea i snagged one guys, awesome, awesome phone in every respect. My favorite feature...how WELL it performs its job as a phone, which sadly the Samsung u740 fails pretty bad at...i honestly cant figure out why not many other are bothered by the sound quality on that phone, its just horrendous and muffled a bit.
