Emailing Ringtones doesnt work ne more??

for some reason when i try emialing ringtones to a verizon lg vx8300 or a white chocolate it doesnt work anymore.. ive sent at least 5 ringtones to the 8300 and they all worked fine but now it doesnt work anymore. i use bitpim to convert it to mp3 and make it 30sec long. if i go on vzwpix.com i can get them to work tht way but it has to be formatted to wav format tht takes like 1mb for a 30sec tht sounds half decent. is there something im doin wrong or does it not work on lg version phones anymore?

Did you recently cancel VCast on your lines? If so, chances are that customer service failed to replace the filler feature.

Tell them that Pix Messaging is not working anymore and they will know what to do.

i called them and said pix messageing wasnt working the guy said he did something and to try it so i tried it and it still doesnt work... should i call him back and say it didnt work? or could it be something else

Did he tell you to power cycle your phone or to *228 (send) option 1? If not, try doing both!

i did tht and i still cant hear anything on the 8300, i dont kno why all the sudden it stopped workin. it doesnt work on any of the phones on our plan (8300 and white chocolate). my one friend has a 8300 and it doesnt work on his anymore either. but my other friend has like a samsung something and they still work on his.. so thts y im thinkin lg has something to do with it

i just figured it out i think, i was using outlook express to email them through the comcast server.. so i decided to use yahoo, the ringtone worked for the 8300 but not for the white chocolate.. any ideas why it works for the 8300 but not the white chocolate, i used the same ringtone.

Try using Mobile17 ^^ :: Create Ringtones and Graphics: online, for free! to send your MP3 clips. This will guarantee that the clips are sent in the correct format.

Also, you can use a software app called ToneThis to send directly from your PC or laptop.
