when i click on get phone data, it says "failed to auto-detect the port to use. i couldnt detect any candidate ports." what does this mean. also cant find a driver anywhere. please help!
I was just getting that .. so I went into settings & typed in the COM port I was using (it was com10) then it worked. (I was doing it through bluetooth).
I'm having the same problem, except I'm using Mac 10.5.2. I can't figure out how to get my phone to connect to BitPim using the cable OR bluetooth. It used to work when I had Tiger. I've been trying to figure this out all evening.
